A company that seeks to give the City and County the very best performances possible, featuring the finest soloists available whilst also show-casing, encouraging and giving opportunity to the best creative talent that can be drawn from the huge potential that the city holds.
Oxford has arguably the best university in the world ….. Oxford Opera Company believes that the city can also produce, arguably, the best performances in classical production whilst also creating opportunities, irrespective of social background; age; ethnicity or gender identity, for the next generation of singers, musicians, all and everyone who want to be involved in the incredible world of the creative arts.

“It is a great privilege for me to be the first Ambassador for Oxford Opera. I am passionate about the arts and about music outreach and education. Oxford Opera is an outstanding example of all of these values – producting opera of the highest artistic merit, and working with the community and with young people to secure the future of the arts which is more important than ever in these challenging times.
In my own work as an artist and as an educator I aim to embody the values of integrity, excellence, vision and diligence. I know Oxford Opera shares these values.
